Another Fast Week

Time is booking it guys, I always have to remember to make the most out of the time that I have on my mission, it just flies, but this week was awesome. Walter and Janet's daughter Camila had her baptismal interview two days ago and she'll be baptized this Saturday!!! Her and her brother are adorable, Elder Letham and I call them our kids when we're at church with them. She's awesome, because now her mom Janet is opening up to us a lot more, Camila's baptism is totally gonna help the whole family progress even more and we're pumped for that.

This week got pretty hard about half-way through, Sofia was going to be baptized this Saturday as well but her mom has once again said that it's too early and she's not ready, but we've just decided that it's not her time and we'll be patient about it. The amount of patience I've had to develop is crazy haha. Things just don't go the way you want all the time, but we can't see the future so who knows! We also taught Gabriela this week, we're still praying so hard for her haha. But yah that's pretty much it!

Hope you all are doing well! Miss you guys a lot! If you have any tips on patience let me know!!;) Love you all!

D&C 78:17-18

17 Verily, verily, I say unto you, ye are little children, and ye have not as yet understood how great blessings the Father hath in his own hands and prepared for you;
18 And ye cannot bear all things now; nevertheless, be of good cheer, for I will lead you along. The kingdom is yours and the blessings thereof are yours, and the riches of eternity are yours.

Fast week

So wow that was a very fast week, for me anyways, we did get a lot done though.

We finally got to Sofia by fighting off her dogs and getting to the door. She has a baptismal date for the September 2nd and we gotta keep working with her more but these dang dogs hate us for some reason. I think Satan just works in creative ways. BUT we got to teach her some more and she's super ready so that's good!

We also went to Walter and Janet's family and talked about Camila's baptism some more, she also has a date for the 2nd and she's SOO excited, hopefully that excitement rubs off on the parents:)

Still teaching a lot of people in Totorani, it's just hard for them to progress because they're so far away from the church building and don't really wanna make the trip out there haha. But they're super nice and the whole town knows us by now so that's cool.

I feel like my spanish is getting worse because Elder Letham and I only speak english but I mean it's pretty nice to speak some english. Elder Letham and I study a lot though and we practice and notice what we studied when people talk throughout the day so that's good haha. We'll study something and we'll use it during a lesson and wink at each other cause we think we're soooo good at it so it's a fun little game. But yah we're doing good!

Today we played some Rugby with the other zone which was super fun, we're hoping it becomes like a every P-day kinda thing, cause man I'm tired of soccer.

Hope you all had a good week! Let me know how everything's going! (Shout-out to Michael for completing his mission and being an awesome missionary and serving the people of Russia! надеюсь, что вы делаете хорошо!) Me encanta la misión, ¡espero que tengan una buena semana!

D&C 11:12-14

12 And now, verily, verily, I say unto thee, put your trust in that Spirit which leadeth to do good—yea, to do justly, to walk humbly, to judge righteously; and this is my Spirit.
13 Verily, verily, I say unto you, I will impart unto you of my Spirit, which shall enlighten your mind, which shall fill your soul with joy;
14 And then shall ye know, or by this shall you know, all things whatsoever you desire of me, which are pertaining unto things of righteousness, in faith believing in me that you shall receive.

To teach and preach and work as missionarys dooooooo

Hope you're all doing well, Elder Letham and I are killin it, actually this week was pretty slow cause he went to Cusco to do his migrations stuff and I was here with another Elder. But Elder Letham and I got to teach Walter and Janet's family on Friday and it was awesome, they've listened to all the lessons and they always love it everytime we come. The parents are still a little skeptical and are trying to learn little by little which is really good, BUT they've agreed that they want their 9 year old daughter Camila baptized! So we'll be talking to them about that this week, we'll be able to get to the parents through their kids, Camila has come to church with us EVERY sunday, she's super smart and LOVES it. Her little brother Nicolas who's 7 also comes with us and they're adorable, we love that family so much. Can't wait to see how much they progress. We're STILL teaching Gabriela and we're kinda stuck, her parents don't want her baptized but in time I think they'll warm up to the church, Gabriela brought her Mom to an activity this week! So that's a step forward.

A lot of awesome things happening, we have tonssss of investigators and we're working super hard with all of them. We're still going up to Totorani every now and then to teach, lots to do!! Hope you're all doing well and enjoying the back to school season! (ew) It's still super cold here and now the windy season is coming in. Here in Puno there's no seasons, it's just different types of Coldness haha. Coming up is rain so stay tuned for that!

Today was a good P-day, we went out to the other side of Puno to play on this huuuge field capture the flag with the other zone and other little games. Elder Clobes taught us how to play Rugby so we played that for a little while too and it was a blast. Welp, hope you all have a good week!!! Work hard in whatever you're doing but make it a blast!! ISAIAH 41:10-13  Love you all!!

10 ¶ Fear thou not; for I am with thee: be not dismayed; for I am thy God: I will strengthen thee; yea, I will help thee; yea, I will uphold thee with the right hand of my righteousness.
11 Behold, all they that were incensed against thee shall be ashamed and confounded: they shall be as nothing; and they that strive with thee shall perish.
12 Thou shalt seek them, and shalt not find them, eventhem that contended with thee: they that war against thee shall be as nothing, and as a thing of nought.
13 For I the Lord thy God will hold thy right hand, saying unto thee, Fear not; I will help thee.

.......When I have a grown a foot or twooooooo.......

Hope everyone's doing well! This week we had a conference with one of the Seventy Elder Uceda, good conference, he burned us super good so we're all gonna try to be even better missionaries now haha. I don't feel like typing much but I'm doing good!! We're teaching a lot and finding a ton of new people as well.

STILL working with Grabriela and her parents but with patience...lots of patience...we'll get there. We're still teaching Walter and Janet's family, we're talking about baptism with them so stay tuned...awesome family, they said they want their daughter to be baptized which is sweet cause then we'll get to the parents eventually;)

 LOVE YOU ALL!!!

Thanks for the Lucky Charms Sister Letham!!!!!!!!!!!!
