6 Months and going strong

I'm reading all the emails from the missionaries and everyone's saying that this week went by super slow and oh my goodness I agree! Cusco slowed down this week like crazy, who knows why but man I'm loving this city, our sector is hard!!!! haha

Contacting doesn't work but we're doing our best, we talk with everyone we can, we help everyone we can, and we try to bring the spirit to everyone in Ttio. We received a reference this week and as usual this person didn't exist, when we asked the lady who lived there she said oh yah I don't know who he is but I'd love to join your church! I thought I dreamed it in the moment like in the movies and I just heard it different or something but nope it was real how cool is that. We'll be visiting with her (Veronica) all this week! If you guys remember Alfio, his mom has now started receiving the lessons which I can't even explain how excited I am for that, all I want to do is teach families but that's something really hard to do here, super super excited to continue teaching Alfio's mom Liliana. Ttio is a hard sector of Cusco, but I know there's little miracles hidden everywhere we just have to keep working.

So I'm trying to learn the impossible language of the Incas called Quechua. Just like in Yunguyo all the old people spoke Aimara, here in Cusco they speak quechua. I'm convinced the Lamanites spoke it too. A member who speaks English gave me an english to quechua dictionary which is like impossible to find cause it's all spanish to quechua. So I'm gonna try to talk with the grandparents that live in our building, I love the culture here it's crazy awesome, if you're planning a trip to some country please come to Cusco it's so dang good. So grateful for it. When I'm homesick I just have to remember where I am and how blessed I am to be here.

I hope you all have a good week!!!! Next Monday I will write you all but that Wednesday we're having a super p-day with almost our entire mission and president Herrera that'll be sweet. Please pray for our beloved Prophet! Love you all!
