BUT, we are teaching a guy named Jose Luis, he has mental problems that make it hard for him to talk about what's on his mind, it's kind of like Autism. We have to repeat what we say like 3 times and very simply so that he can understand it well, I love it, my spanish isn't perfect so being able to talk slow and really go over what we're saying is amazing, he's insanely smart and an awesome guy. He's planning to be baptized at the end of the month. His mom tells us that he can't be baptized cause he has problems and he doesn't understand, but that's a bunch of bologni. We feel the spirit and he bore us his testimony and how he can feel the love of Christ in his life when we come to visit, at first I was also hesitant, I was thinking that maybe he just doesn't understand but recently we've been able to see what he's truly thinking and feeling. He really does want to change his life. He's an awesome person that made me open my eyes to those who struggle with that kind of problem.
So we've been teaching an 8 year old girl to prepare for her baptism, she's not an investigator but her parents asked us to teach her the lessons and oh my gosh was it a blast. This family is amazing, they're all recent converts but their testimonies are so strong. Mercela was baptized on Saturday (there's pics)
This week was semana santa and I totally forgot that Sunday was Easter so now I'm upset. We ate a ton this weekend and no one in the city worked. I hope you all had an awesome Easter and a good week, I'm doing very good, I don't fit in any of my pants anymore, I'm forgetting English, my testimony's growing everyday, and I'm tired:) Have a good week!!!!!!!!!!!!
